A dog that listens the first time.
Loose leash walks, a recall that works at the beach and a dog that stays put when the doorbell rings. Zac trains 1 on 1 at your home anywhere in St. Johns County or at his facility in St. Augustine, then takes the training out to the places your dog actually goes.

What we train
Obedience isn't tricks. It's a dog you can walk, call back, park on a bed and take anywhere, because it knows what each word means and that it means it every time.
How Zac trains
Clarity
Clear markers, fair corrections, big rewards and a lot of repetition. The dog always knows what earned the reward and what didn't.
Tools
For dogs that pull, Zac usually uses a slip lead, a choke chain or a pinch collar, fitted right and introduced properly. You pick it together at the first session.
Your words
Zac trains in English or German, whichever your family prefers, and teaches everyone in the house to use the same words and rules.
Real world training
A dog that sits in the living room and ignores you at the beach isn't trained yet. As your dog progresses, sessions move out to the places that matter to you.

Obedience packages
Single hours work for a tune up. For real obedience, a package keeps you on a schedule and lowers the hourly rate, at your home or at Zac's facility in St. Augustine.

Questions
It depends on the dog and on how much you practice between sessions. Many dogs start with T1, 5 hours used within 60 days. Dogs that need to hold up around real distractions usually go on to T2 or T3.
Both. In home sessions are $120 an hour anywhere in St. Johns County with no travel fee. Sessions at Zac's facility in St. Augustine are $80 an hour. Facility sessions are by appointment, and Zac sends the address when you book.
Yes. Zac trains all ages and breeds, from puppies to adult dogs with years of bad habits.
It depends on the dog. For dogs that pull, Zac usually uses a slip lead, a choke chain or a pinch collar. The e collar is part of training for some dogs, but it's very seldom the tool for teaching leash walking. Every tool is fitted and introduced properly, and none of them replaces training.
Off leash reliability, where it's safe, is what the T3 package builds toward: 20 hours over six months, with proofing at beaches, patios and downtown.
No. Every session is 1 on 1 with Zac, so the whole hour goes to your dog and your household.
